Look what I did for lunch~~
The most common Chinese homely dishes which you don’t get to eat at any restaurant.
Stir-fried shrimp 清炒虾仁Qing chao xia ren

Hors d’oeuvers (cold dish): Sliced Celery and Potato mixed with vinegar sauce 炝拌土豆芹菜丝Qiang ban tu dou qin cai si

Fried Beef with Onion (along with breads since I’m out of rice) 洋葱炒肉Yang cong chao rou

Simple, tasty and healthy~~Except it took me 40 mins to shred potato and celery, that’s the key, the thinner the better. My mom needs only 5 mins with knife…….If there was a slicing cutter, my cooking time would have been compressed to less than 40 mins
I love to use a lot of green onions~ I usually salting too much, but this time is a big success!
These three dishes can be seen on any Chinese household dinner tables. I always cook Fried Beef with Onion when I couldn’t find anything else except onion and meat in my fridge. It should never been served without rice. But who knows, I live in a western country, do in Rome as Rome does, bread is not bad.
Of course I don’t eat them all by myself, AT ONCE I mean^_^. I love cooking much more than eating. If my family or friends aren’t appreciate my cooking, I force them. I’m serious~~
